7 weeks in the "Real" World

Tomorrow I am officially 7 weeks old. I can now honestly say I'm actually beginning to enjoy myself since being ripped from that warm dark place I floated around in for so long...literally. I can now hold my head up pretty well which makes it easier to check things out and these Mom and Dad people are starting to understand me a little better. Daddy and I even have a new game. He makes some silly face at me and sticks his tongue out, then in, then out, then in and then I do the same. It's a good time! I also enjoy walking the dogs with Mom. I get to ride in the front pack but inevitably fall asleep to the rhythm of Mom's walking and miss a lot of it. The fresh air does me good though. Sometimes Dad comes along and then I get to ride in style in my stroller.

The other day Mom put together some crazy thing called an Exersaucer that her friends Lauren and Drouin sent for me. (Don't tell her I said this but it took her F-O-R-E-V-E-R) I've been eyeing it now for days but apparently can't use it until I can hold myself upright somewhat. So if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can accomplish that a little quicker I'd be much obliged! Until then I guess I'm stuck with some stuffed blocks and a rattle. BOR-ING!!
