's Eve and I'm just now getting around to recapping Christmas. That's because I just did so much I've needed this long to recover! We left Tuesday 12/20 for Minnesota on a big airplane. That wasn't nearly as exciting as people made it out to be so I just slept the entire ride. Once we got there we went on another long ride up to the lake house (this time in the car). Again I slept the entire time. Mom was sick with a cold for the first few days so we mostly just relaxed. Grandma and Grandpa gave me a really cool snow suit as an early Christmas present so one day we got all bundled up and went outside to play in the snow. I even got to ride on the snowmobile! I really don't remember much of it though because that snow suit was so warm and cozy I slept the entire time. After a few days up at the lake we drove back down to the other house and Aunt Deena, Uncle Alex, and Uncle Dan came to stay with us. Aunt Deena and Uncle Alex told me that I'm going to get a cousin in August. I'm not sure what a cousin is but it must be something very exciting because Grandma squeeled and squeeled when we found out.
On Christmas Eve I got to open lots of presents. I got a whole bunch of cool toys and books. I even got some official Minnesota sports apparel...my own Vikings uniform and a Wild (that's the NHL team for those of you who don't know) outfit. What a crazy holiday. There was so much food and excitement I could barely handle it! On Christmas day Mom and Dad said it was time to go home. I had such a great time with all those fun people but it was a hard couple of days and I was really ready to go back to my routine at home. We got on another plane but this time we sat somewhere called First Class. This time I managed to stay awake for some of the trip but in the end I just kept falling asleep again.Everyone tells me that I'll enjoy Christmas much more next year when I'm older...I can hardly wait!
